Arlington, Va., (December 12, 2016)–Telehealth offers improved care that can lead to lower total health care costs as specialized treatment is made available in remote and insular areas. This enables early diagnosis and treatment and improves conditions for compliance rates. The Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) and Smart Rural Community (SRC) explore these data in an innovative event that will combine rural broadband professionals, health care experts, and telemedicine developers for conversation and technical demonstrations.
