NTCA Members Invited to Participate in NTIA’s BroadbandMatch
We’ve been working pretty closely with the National Telecommunications and Information Administration (NTIA) lately on ways to collaborate to raise the visibility of broadband adoption. NTIA is really focusing on how to create connections and open dialogue for companies working on broadband projects. The agency’s online tool, BroadbandMatch is a great way to make those connections. BroadbandMatch had initially been set up to help BTOP recipients find opportunities for collaboration but has now been relaunched as a way to allow entities – such as RLECS – to connect with other organizations – like your local anchor institutions, tribal entities, small businesses and public safety institutions in a relatively easy, user-friendly format and hopefully lead to more potential customers for your broadband services. I had the chance to reach out to Larry Strickling, the NTIA Administrator, to let him know that we value the collaboration between his team and our membership and look forward to continuing our efforts in this area.
