We had the pleasure of hosting the National Association of Counties in our offices about a week ago. It was a really productive discussion about how we can work together to affect change. States and counties share our concerns about the issues and outcomes of the national broadband plan (NBP). There is no better way to extend our efforts than working thru groups like this and we are looking to host a summit of sorts at our upcoming Legislative Conferences as well as possibly invite a panel of these third-party groups to have a discussion in front of our membership on their priorities for their citizens or membership regarding broadband policy. I’m really excited to see the open dialogue and interest of other groups. We also had a very positive follow up with the Consumer Federation of America with a few NTCA members joining the organization to continue to build partnership with this important consumer organization.
