Next week will be round two of our Smart Rural Community Summit and I could not be more pleased with the enthusiastic response these discussions have generated with some of our new colleagues in the rural interest arena. We have nearly all of the organizations involved in the first summit returning to a meeting at our offices at NTCA next week–including the White House Rural Council, RUS, AARP, the Farm Bureau, electric cooperatives and the list goes on. I’m looking forward to hearing the challenges that these organizations face and how we might work together to create a broadband future for rural America. Stay tuned……
