The Product Manager is responsible for product development for new and existing products. In addition, the Product Manager will conduct research, evaluation, planning and implementation of new lines of business and new target market areas for regulated and deregulated businesses. The Product Manager is also responsible for evaluating existing products and services for each line of business and recommend and implement enhancements to these products and services to extend their life cycle and generate incremental revenues for the companies. In addition, the Product Manager works with the Sales & Marketing Manager and Executive Management to insure new lines of business are stocked with adequate products and services defined and ready for revenue generation and to insure vertical and horizontal market coverage or integration. The Product Manager is required to work with internal employees, external consultants and advisors, and legal counsel to extract needed information and to assist in the development, testing, and implementation of new product and services and for the development cycle of new lines of business. In addition, the Product Manager will work to insure new products and services are brought into the product mix in a timely fashion, and insure existing products and services are meeting the company’s revenue requirements and customer’s needs. The Product Manager holds product progression meetings and tracks operating and financial results of products and services assigned to their area of responsibility.
