The Vice President of Sales & Marketing provides leadership to a team of intelligent and hardworking sales executives. We are searching for an individual who has the experience to take KsFiberNet into in to the next generation of growth and beyond. The ideal individual has the technical mastery in the sale of transport, DIA and telephony products.

Position Summary:
Lead and direct sales and marketing strategies to achieve, or exceed, desired results.

Minimum education, experience and licensure required:
•Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent industry experience
•A passionate leader with a minimum of 10 years’ experience with solid business intuition, knowledge, and understanding that drives success
•Must maintain a valid driver’s license

Minimum knowledge and skills required:
•Ability to lead cross-functional teams with clear direction, passion, and a consensus-building approach.
•Ability to professionally advocate KFN’s positions on issues and a skilled negotiator.
•Strong analytical skills and ability to establish business and financial justifications for initiatives.
•Employee development and performance management skills with emphasis on sales.
•Strong interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations. Ability to be a team player, personable, professional, upbeat, and energetic, takes initiative, uses tact and diplomacy.
•Work requires continual attention to detail. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
•Resourceful, roll-up-the sleeves attitude. Ability to take initiative to resolve problems, seek answers independently, and enthusiastically persist until goals are achieved.

Essential Duties and Job Responsibilities:

•Set sales goals and implement effective sales programs/campaigns for internal and external sales teams, both short- and long-term, to increase sales and customer loyalty.
•Assist in exceeding KFN’s sales goals by meeting with key clients and building strong relationships.
•Establish performance goals, sales goals, quotas, commission structures, territories, forecasts, and sales plans.

•Develop and evaluate company marketing strategies.
•Research competitive landscape; monitor current pricing models and recommend adjustments.
•Oversee marketing activities, including research, advertising, website, and communications; evaluate market reactions to sales and marketing programs.
•Research and analyze demographics to capitalize on marketing and sales opportunities.

Customer Service
•Lead and champion company-wide customer service initiatives and programs; establish service goals, performance matrix, build customer loyalty.
•Create improvement plans for processes or initiatives to excel performance and customer satisfaction.
•Proactively analyze and improve customer satisfaction. Assess customer needs and manage customer issues, escalations, and complaints.

•Create and manage budget for sales, marketing, and customer service.
•Develop and accept recommendations from Product committee. Research and recommend new product opportunities.
•Lead product launch team and process.
•Establish and maintain relationships with industry influencers and key strategic partners.
•Supervise personnel, which may include work allocation, motivation, training, retention, and problem resolution; evaluate performance and recommend personnel actions; motivate to achieve peak performance.
•Keep current on technology, regulatory guidelines and communications industry and ensure staff is educated and in compliance.
•Engage in regular and periodic reviews with supervisor. Accept direction.
•Communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
•Complete other duties as assigned.
