National Telecommunications Cooperative Association (NTCA) seeks a regulatory counsel to provide NTCA members with legal and regulatory advocacy and advice on communications, information services, video and wireless issues. Initiates and prepares NTCA filings, pleadings and other documents for submission to FCC, federal courts and other federal and state agencies as necessary to protect and promote the interests of NTCA and its members. Develops and maintains an effective working relationship with government agencies and industry organizations representing NTCA in formal and informal industry meetings and events.
Position requires excellent oral and written communication skills, ability to work independently and take initiative, and manage several tasks at the same time. Practical knowledge, skills and abilities usually acquired through a JD law degree and a minimum of 3-5 years of related work experience, and knowledge of computer assisted research tools and resources available in Telecommunications law.
