Key Employee Certificate
NTCA offers a curriculum designed specifically for key employees called the Key Employee Curriculum program (KEC). Participants in the program must complete each of the 11 required courses and another nine elective courses for a total of 20 credits to earn a certificate. The program is designed for high potential employees and focuses on industry, management and leadership skills. The series of required courses and electives will expose KEC participants to professional development principles that will help them become high performance employees and achieve their career goals. These courses are offered in rotation at NTCA meetings, stand-alone seminars and at the Key Employee Conference.
The KEC program recognizes enrolled key employees of NTCA member telcos and associate members who have attended the required and elective courses since 2000. It does not indicate mastery of the educational content. Only courses offered by NTCA may be used to earn the certificate.
