| National Awards |
NTCA's highest recognition of individual excellence is the National Awards Program. Awards are given in the following categories: - Lifetime Achievement (Manager, Director)
- Management Achievement
- Public Relations/Marketing Achievement
- Key Employee
- Best Subscriber Communications Program
- Special Achievement
- Heroism
Each spring, telco presidents and managers receive a brochure outlining the awards and how to nominate an individual or telco. Nominations are due by August 1 each year, and sent to the Awards Committee for review prior to the Fall Conference. Winners are chosen at the Fall Conference and honored at the Annual Meeting banquet. The Associate Member Lifetime Achievement Award is bestowed at the Fall Conference.

| Recognition (Customized) Program |
If a member company wants to recognize its employees for 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 or 30+ years of service, NTCA's customized recognition program offers jewelry, plaques, briefcases, desk lamps and other specialty items. Visit NTCA's Merchandise Mart for pens and more. Price: Varies based on award.

| Retirement and Service Awards |
 NTCA offers a recognition program for employees, officers and directors who have 25, 30, 35, 40, 45 and 50 years of service, retirees and 25-year member systems. The association also honors companies celebrating their 100th anniversary. The plaques can be ordered from NTCA's Merchandise Mart.
Disclaimer: Discounted prices are available for the retirement and service awards May 1 through September 30 each year. After that date, the original price will be charged.

| TeleChoice Awards |
 The NTCA TeleChoice Awards honor excellence in independent telco public relations and marketing. The annual program recognizes excellence in six categories: single target print publications, annual reports, customer newsletters, websites and complete marketing campaigns. The entries are accepted during the first quarter and winners are announced at the PR & Marketing Conference in the Spring.

| Associate Member Lifetime Achievement |
NTCA's Associate Member Lifetime Achievement Award was created to honor Associate Members who have performed extraordinary service for the benefit of the telecommunications industry in conjunction with NTCA membership. The award is presented to an individual currently or previously employed by an Associate Member Company in recognition of effective leadership and long-term involvement in NTCA, along with outstanding accomplishments and contributions on behalf of small telecommunications companies on a local, state and national level.
