Each May, NTCA's Foundation for Rural Service (FRS) awards 30 scholarships to graduating high school seniors sponsored by NTCA member companies. The winners receive a one-time $2,500 scholarship; FRS provides $2,000 and the sponsoring company provides $500 to their student.

NTCA's Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), in cooperation with NTCA member companies, brings rural students from across the United States to Washington, D.C., for the annual Youth Tour each June. During the four-day program, students learn first-hand about the telecommunications industry, telecom careers and the legislative and regulatory processes, as well as tour the Nation's Capital.
