The Emergency Preparedness Summit is a new mid- to senior-level management event, a joint collaboration between NTCA-The Rural Broadband Association and the National Rural Electric Cooperative Association. The event will focus on emergency preparedness issues for rural utilities. Topics include: emergency planning, federal, state and local policy issues, recovery after an event, best practices, mitigation, and the mutual assistance network. You will also identify how social media is becoming a key player to disseminate news to communities while providing time for networking for telcos and electric companies.
