Connecting the Future

Navigating the complexities of the telecommunications legal landscape can be daunting. As industry developments occur, telco executives turn to the advice of their legal team to serve their customers, secure their networks and navigate employment laws. The NTCA Legal Seminar is the annual event for telco attorneys, executives and owners to examine changes in federal and state telecommunications regulations and how they impact daily business operations.

New this year—the NTCA Legal Seminar is part of the NTCA Fall Conference.* Enjoy the additional networking opportunities, educational resources and conference amenities of the larger Fall Conference event while accessing the same full schedule of quality legal educational sessions that help rural telco attorneys stay informed.

Legal Seminar attendees gain access to:

  • A full schedule of legal sessions.
  • A special attorneys-only evening reception and an exclusive breakfast.
  • The opportunity to claim continuing legal education (CLE) credits for attending the sessions. Approved credit hours vary by state, but NTCA applies for 13 hours (including three legal ethics credits) in registrants’ states of bar membership.

*You must be registered for Fall Conference to attend the Legal Seminar.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

NTCA offers continuing legal education hours (CLE). Upon request, an application for CLE program accreditation is submitted to the appropriate state bar. When a state bar grants CLE accreditation for the course, NTCA posts the information in the appropriate state record, verifies attorney attendance and issues certificates of attendance.

Attorneys who desire CLE credits for courses other than the Legal Seminar should request accreditation directly from their state bars.

Contact us for questions regarding CLE credit.
