VOTW: Robots Pop-’n-Lock

And last but not least, our video of the week (VOTW). This group of Nao robots dances in unison to the finale of Ravel’s Bolero. The robots, designed by a French firm Aldebaran Robotics, made their official dancing debut Monday at the Shanghai 2010 Expo. Each robot has voice recognition software, so it can listen to English and French commands, and Wi-Fi lets the robots communicate with other robots. For a cool $250,000, you too could have your very own private dancer. Popular Science has more.
