Showcase Your Extraordinary Achievements

The Smart Rural CommunitySM  (SRC) Showcase Awards are annual awards presented to SRC providers to recognize their extraordinary achievements in promoting rural broadband networks and their broadband-enabled applications in rural communities. Rural broadband providers are awarded based on their ability to demonstrate the use of these technologies to enable innovative solutions to improve economic development, education, health care and other vital services.

Companies must be enrolled in the Smart Rural Community program to be awarded a Showcase Award.

How Are Winners Selected?

Applications are reviewed by the SRC Advisory Council. Chairs of the NTCA Associate Member Advisory Council and the Innovation and Business Opportunity Committee may solicit their respective members to participate in the review and scoring process. Reviewers also include other organizations representing rural interests, including agriculture, economic development and health care. Although the review process is overseen by NTCA staff, NTCA staff does not score applications. Any current NTCA member may apply for a Showcase award, but must join SRC before an award is given.
