Invoice Payment
Frequently Asked Questions

Why did the checkout button not display when I selected invoices for payment?

The NTCA Group Health Program (GHP) and Retirement & Security (R&S) Program are benefit plan trusts. Payment of invoices from these programs must be made separately from payment of other NTCA invoices to keep trust fund and non-trust fund assets separated. If GHP and R&S Program invoices are selected for checkout along with other types of invoices, the checkout process cannot be completed. GHP and R&S Program invoice payments must also be processed in different checkouts.

Are there other reasons when the checkout button will not be available when I select invoices for payment?

There are additional reasons when checkout is not available to initiate an electronic payment of invoices, including:

  • PRB Report, Section 105 and Section 125 (Flex) invoices must be paid by check.
  • Donations to the Foundation for Rural Services (FRS) general fund are only permitted with an NTCA payment.

Can I pay my invoice(s) with a credit card?

Credit card payments are accepted for NTCA event/EXPO registrations, E-Commerce orders, Foundation for Rural Service invoices and fund donations, and Associate member dues invoices. Credit card payment is not available for other types of invoices.

Is any banking information stored on the system?

For security purposes, banking information is not stored on the system after an electronic payment is processed.

Are there any invoices I cannot pay electronically?

PRB Report, Section 105 and Section 125 (Flex) invoices must be paid by check. When these types of invoices are added to the shopping cart and selected for payment, the message "No payment methods available" will display beside "Payment Type" to indicate an electronic payment option is not permitted. Click on "Pay By Check" to display a check remittance document.

Can I pay multiple invoices in one payment?

Payment of NTCA GHP and R&S Program invoices must be paid separately from other NTCA invoices to appropriately separate trust fund from non-trust fund assets. GHP and R&S Program invoices must also be paid in two separate checkouts.

Who is authorized at my company to access and pay invoices on the system?

Company Administrators are authorized to view and pay invoices for a member company. The primary contact of a member company (usually the General Manager/CEO/owner or head of the company) is designated as the "Company Administrator." Other member company personnel can be designated as a Company Administrator. Please contact NTCA member services at membership@ntca.org for assistance.

Who should I contact for additional assistance regarding payment of my company's benefits program invoices?

Theresa Stevens, Accountant II, is available at 703-351-2076 or at tstevens@ntca.org for more information about payment of your GHP and/or R&S Program invoices. For all other payment-related inquiries, please contact Michele Holley, Accountant I, at 703-351-2083 or at mholley@ntca.org.

Who should I contact for additional assistance regarding payment of my company's other invoices, such as an NTCA meeting and event registration?

Contact NTCA member services staff at 703-351-2118 or at membership@ntca.org.
