Job Description

General Summary:
Performs secretarial and administrative tasks that require analysis and judgement. Drafts and types letters, memos, and reports. Compiles data and maintains files for one or more supervisors. Manages the billing database and perform routine tasks in Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.

Essential Job Functions:
• Prepares correspondence, presentations and reports using computer and various software including word processing, database, spreadsheet, and graphics programs
• Compiles data for various reports and projects and maintains filing system to ensure accessibility of materials
• Assists with planning and preparation for Board, Annual, operational and industry meetings.
• Compiles daily cash receipts and prepares bank deposits
• Maintains membership and capital credit records and ensures accuracy and conformity with the Company Bylaws
• Assists other departments with clerical functions as needed
• Completes special projects as requested
• Performs all other related duties as assigned
• Learns and manages all aspects of billing system

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
• Knowledge of office and secretarial practices and procedures
• Knowledge of company policies and procedures
• Knowledge of the telecommunications industry
• Knowledge of company products and services
• Knowledge of written communication practices, procedures, and formats
• Intermediate/Advanced skill in operating Word, Excel, Power Point, Outlook, etc
• Skill in planning and organizing
• Skill in oral and written communication
• Ability to communicate with customers, employees, and various business contacts in a professional and courteous manner
• Ability to work independently
• Ability to pay close attention to detail and be very accurate
• Ability to effectively function as a team player
• Basic knowledge in accounting
• Ability to problem solve
• Ability to figure out the complexity of the billing system and how it interacts with Reporting and Plant Operations

Education and Experiences:
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred plus 2-3 years of related experience
