An excellent opportunity is available as a Business Sales Associate for a progressive commercial communications company in the Smoky Hills region of Kansas. Wilson Communications is seeking a qualified and experienced individual who understands the ever-changing technology landscape while providing technical insight during the sales process. The Company provides IT Business Services, Voice Service, Broadband Internet Service, and Video Service.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: selling the company’s products and services to businesses, working directly with customers either independently or with an IT representative during the pre-sales process, working with various departments to ensure proper solution design and implementation, assist in developing the company’s sales strategies, execute successful sales campaigns for business services and products, research and identify opportunities to enhance revenues, act as the company’s public relations liaison and actively participate in local economic development.
Applicant’s skills, abilities and knowledge should include: sales and account management skills, preferably in network and broadband based service and business telecommunications equipment sales; preparing and delivering technical presentations; articulating the benefits of potential solutions; a financial understanding of budgets, forecasts, penetration and results; the ability to quickly establish strong working relationships with peers and customers; along with a minimum of five years’ business sales experience.
