Job Description

Job Summary
Director of Information Technology is a key leadership role. As Subject Matter Expert on Yadtel’s solution portfolio and services capabilities, you will contribute to our corporate strategy and direction as well as serve as an executive face to customers and partners within the territory. As a leader of the Solutions (pre-sales) team, you will partner with Marketing and Business Development to grow revenue, drive professional services and provide thought leadership across the sales and delivery platforms. You will also be expected to coordinate and execute pre-sales activities between sales and sales engineers to deepen existing client relationships, develop solutions for clients, cross/up-sell professional service and develop new accounts. You must have entrepreneurial business development experience to grow our professional services division. You should be a self-starter and possess strong interpersonal and professional communication skills

Essential Job Functions
• Evaluate technology and service enhancements related to commercial products, services and customer experience
• Develop and engage employees and exercise independent judgment to direct and lead employees
• Manage and execute multiple, critical projects simultaneously
• Anticipate and understand the emerging needs of clients
• Lead teams in the development, costing, documentation and revision control of commercial services and solutions for special projects and strategic customer requests
• Develop and manage relationships with internal and external customers, suppliers and departments to ensure cohesive and collaborative communication
• Analyze data and develop and present data driven reports
• Strong business planning and forecasting skills
• Implementation, deployment, and operational of enterprise tools, security, and infrastructure in large complex environments.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives resulting in increased productivity, as well as scalable and efficient processes within Network and Service Management
• Maintain a close relationship with Business sales to maximize sales close rates

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Knowledge of webs, mobile, managed workplace services, infrastructure modernization, digital consulting, IoT, and smart buildings
• Working knowledge of E-Commerce development and rollout
• In depth knowledge of Ethernet, IP and Optical based networks and architectures. Specifically, SLA and non-SLA
• Understand of different levels of carrier circuits and appropriate deployment applications
• Knowledge of Cisco, Nexus, Juniper, HPE, Adtran, Calix, Mitel, ESI, Polycom, Grandstrem, VMware, Linux and Microsoft server environments, and Dell Network solutions equipment
• Working knowledge and experience with Network Planning, Design and/or Architecture
• Understanding of routing protocols, network topologies and Metro Ethernet Forum (MEF) Technical Specifications
Education and Experience
• Bachelor’s Degree in business, computer science and/or engineering required (Master’s degree highly preferred)
• At least 10 years of business development experience in IT services
• Extensive end user market experience
• Proven track record of exceeding goals and targets, and developing business within existing and new accounts
• Proven experience with network and solution cost models, analysis and methodologies
• Experience in qualifying the clients, identifying needs, requirements, and closing the sale
