Margaretville Telephone Company (MTC) has an immediate opening for a full-time Field Operations Manager position. MTC is a proactive company providing telephone, cable television, broadband, and fiber optic based services throughout the Central Catskills Region. Applicant will be responsible for managing, directing and evaluating Technical Support, Mapping/GIS, Outside Plant, Dispatch and Warehouse/Building Maintenance Personnel. The successful candidate must have the ability to coordinate outage restoration and documentation along with project planning and implementation. Must project excellent Customer Service and Support and have the ability to facilitate technical training and quality control. Management and supervisory responsibilities include developing department budget and inter departmental reporting. Prior supervisory experience required along with computer proficiency in Windows based software, phone systems and office equipment. Weekend, evening and “on-call” for outage coordination will be required.
