Inventory & Purchasing

Job Description

You will perform physical inventory count; inventory receiving, stocking and delivering inventory items and fleet purchasing. You will coordinate with vendors regarding item specifications, material availability, pricing and related record keeping. You will prepare purchase orders for management approval and perform other duties as assigned. Salary commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities:
• Keep warehouse stocked with inventory & non inventory items
• Clean and organize warehouse
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors – checking on products, new products, discontinued items and alternative solutions
• Communicating with vendors on quotes, purchase orders and invoices
• Create purchase orders
• Receive materials into the warehouse
• Process customer returned equipment
• Handle all shipping duties
• Assign materials as needed to the Construction crew, Install & Repair Techs, IT, and Central Office
• Send materials to Haskell and Seymour when needed
• Send any inventory items that can and may be repaired to specific vendors
• Post inventory quantity adjustments into the financials system
• Create work orders
• Perform annual inventory count
• Perform annual exempt inventory count

Qualifications
• Basic computer knowledge with ability to learn mapping and accounting systems
• Ability to lift heavy objects
• Ability to operate a forklift/forklift certified
• Communication skills
• Organizational skills
