This is a senior management position responsible for the overall planning, operation and management of the Engineering and Inside and Outside Network Operations departments with a combined staff of 16. KPU Telecommunications is an advanced IP based local exchange company offering voice, Internet, television, 4G/LTE and traditional telephony services over a next generation network. KPU has overbuilt the majority of its serving area with fiber-to-the-home facilities capable of 1 Gbps connections. This is a hands-on position responsible for leading a technologically advanced network in a fast paced and rapidly changing environment. Strong management, organizational and leadership skills are a necessity to be successful in this position. Engineering or other technical experience in networking, switching, transmission, VOIP deployments, IP television, outside plant design, programming or other technical experience is required. A Bachelors of Science degree, and/or other technical certifications are preferred. A combination of applicable certifications, supervision and network experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree. Regular full-time position.
