As the Outside Plant Manager, you will oversee all aspects of physical plant consisting of twisted pair, coax, and fiber capable of supporting a robust and scalable broadband network. With a passion for leading, coaching and developing technical personnel, the OSP Manager will play a pivotal role on the Operations Team directly influencing and mentoring nearly a fifth of the organization.

$70,000 - 75,000, annually.
TARGET START DATE:
*October 14th, 2019 or sooner.
*Five years of supervisory experience and five years or equivalent work experience in the communications industry.
*Valid driver’s license with a good driving record (Class A).
*Associate’s degree in management or a related field (Telecommunications, Networking, Computer Science, etc.) and/or equivalent
OTHER SKILLS & ABILITIES:
*Knowledge of telephony plant operations and procedures.
*Understanding of communications technology and industry trends including RUS and NEC codes and practices.
*Proficiency in creating, reading, and interpreting documents such as maps, staking sheets, operating and maintenance instruction
*Ability to create, read, analyze, and interpret data including computer reports and printouts.
*Skill in operating and maintaining various industry-specific testing, installation and repair equipment.
*Ability to prepare annual capital and expense budgets and variance reports as needed. Accountable for all expenses within the
framework of that budget.
*Knowledge of management techniques used to instruct, motivate, and train departmental personnel. Capable of setting and
achieving departmental goals relative to company objectives.
*Capacity to organize, prioritize and handle multiple concurrent work assignments and complete the work accurately under time
constraints and deadlines.
*A knack for customer service and customer relations. Strength in communicating with customers, co-workers and various business
contacts in a courteous and professional manner. Ability to function effectively as a team player through open communication
and a constant sharing of information at all levels of the company.
