Job Summary
Accomplished sales leader with proven ability to expand customer account basis and drive effective business development initiatives into existing and new markets. Create and drive company sales to align with overall company strategy, profitability targets, growth, and sales goals.

Essential Job Functions
• Responsible for selection, training, motivating and advising sales representatives towards success
• Responsible for sales team development and performance to ensure it aligns with company sales goals
• Assess and implement sales training needs
• Develop a sales plan and innovative sales techniques that create and drive sales in support of business goals & objectives
• Oversee, manage, foster customer relationships
• Evaluate and develop systems and tools that enhance both sales and store performance
• Responsible for sales tracking tools and process – sales reports, KPI’s, contacts, retention, store performance, sales performance, etc.
• Assist in developing sales commission plan
• Assist in annual budgeting process
• Monitor competition, economic turns, and industry trends
• Ensure the sales department works cross functionally with leaders from other departments
• Collaborate with Marketing to generate sales leads and provide specific feedback/insight on promotions, campaigns, territories, customer base, etc.
• Establish protocol for negotiations to ensure beneficial business decisions
• Consistently supports all efforts to enhance the customer experience
• Manage employee performance and development
• Create a positive work environment for your team and lead by example.
• Oversee Field Sales Reps with sales activities, planning, and schedules
• Solicit, coordinate, schedule, and participate in community events
• Be an example of integrity and trust that are aligned with core company values
• Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
• Ability to develop and communicate KPIs
• Knowledge of sales tools and tracking mechanisms
• Proven ability in managing sales compensation plans aligned with the business goals
• Ability to make appropriate decisions based on assessment of data, situations, behaviors, etc.
• Knowledge of pricing, margins, and discounts
• Excellent communication and listening skills
• Ability to build relationships with internal and external customers
• Ability to unite and create a team under a shared vision
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage time
• Knowledge of Store Operations and Field Sales
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
• Strong organizational and analytical skills
• Ability to problem solve and develop win/win solutions
• Attend professional and technical knowledge by attending workshops, training, professional/industrial learning sessions
• Ability to travel
• Ability to work flexible hours and at multi-site locations

Education and Experience
• 5 years’ plus experience in Sales and/or Sales leadership
• BS in Sales, Business Administration or relevant field
• Proven sales record
