Kevin Beyer

Kevin Beyer received his BA from Gustavus Adolphus College in Saint Peter, Minnesota and started his career as staff accountant at Blue Earth Valley Telephone in Blue Earth, Minnesota. In 1998, Kevin was hired as the General Manager of Federated Telephone Cooperative, headquartered in Chokio, Minnesota and in 2002, began sharing his General Manager duties to include Farmers Mutual Telephone Company, headquartered in Bellingham, Minnesota. Kevin oversees 24 employees and the two Cooperatives serve over 2,700 square miles in west central Minnesota, providing customers with telecommunications services on an all fiber network.

In addition to his General Manager duties, Kevin Beyer serves the industry nationally as the Chairman of the Board of Directors of NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association and as the Chairman of the NECA Average Schedule Task Group Committee. Serving the industry statewide, Kevin Beyer is the President of the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Political Action Committee, Chairman of the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Education Committee, Vice Chairman of the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Regulatory Committee, a member of the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Foundation Board of Directors, and as Secretary/Treasurer on the Board of Directors of Pinnacle Marketing Group headquartered in Bemidji, Minnesota.

Previously, Kevin Beyer was an NTCA Retirement & Securities Trustee and served on the Minnesota Telecom Alliance Board of Directors.
