Commonly Owned or Controlled ILEC Companies Dues
Any organization with common ownership and/or control of two or more telecommunications providers that qualify for ILEC membership are assessed full dues on the largest revenue/access line company as their primary dues-paying company. Dues are calculated as stated under the ILEC member category. All subsidiary ILEC’s within the group must join, but membership dues will be assessed at a reduced fee. (These dues are calculated using the formulas above and are capped at $2,000 per subsidiary ILEC company.)
All companies under common ownership are subject to the following maximum dues amounts for the entire group:
ILEC's with 2-10 subsidiary ILEC companies are subject to a maximum dues amount of $30,000.
ILEC's with 11-99 subsidiary ILEC companies are subject to a maximum dues amount of $45,000.
ILEC's with 100+ subsidiary ILEC companies are subject to a maximum dues amount of $50,000.
The largest ILEC in the group, or designated holding company, is invoiced and pays the full dues for the entire group. However, each individual ILEC within the group will still receive an invoice for their individual subscriptions and are responsible for fulfilling those payments.
Holding companies participating in any NTCA benefit plan are assessed dues at the Associate Member rate.
