Position Summary: The Enterprise Account Executive is responsible for identifying, contacting, and visiting existing and prospective customers. Build and maintain a network of colleagues, partners, and customers to share information and obtain prospects. Take the lead in proposing and presenting products and services that can fill customer needs. This position has a focus on acquiring “New” business.
Build and maintain a network of potential and current customers.
Provide key input in the sales planning and forecasting processes.
Responsible for anticipating customer needs, identifying sales opportunities, and monitoring accounts to ensure customers are aware of what NebraskaLink has to offer.
Generate sales leads by way of cold calling, email, phone calls, letter writing, and door to door sales.
Work to understand marketing analytics and drive engagement of current and potential customers.
Create touchpoints with customers who are pending installations and customers working through upgrades.
Aid in the negotiation of customer pricing and contracts.
Project a professional image and represent NebraskaLink in a positive light to all current and potential customers.
20-30% in state travel is expected with this role
Attend industry related conferences, meetings, and tradeshows.
Performs other functions and duties as may be directed or assigned.

Strong presentation skills
Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Sales or related area plus a minimum of 1-3 years of experience, preferably in the telecommunications sales area.
Prior sales experience preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
Microsoft CRM and Microsoft Office product knowledge preferred.
Valid Nebraska Drivers’ license required.
Primarily indoor work with some outdoor work with exposure to outdoor elements or hazards, including adverse conditions such as heat, cold, sun, dust and pollen required.
Lifting of up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
Some work and meetings completed outside normal business hours.
Overnight travel is required in this role.
