On December 3, 2019, Mike Romano met with Preston Wise, rural broadband advisor to Chairman Ajit Pai to discuss the Rural Digital Opportunity Fund Auction. NTCA expressed concerns with the current weighting proposals for the RDOF and offered comments to ensure the auction will promote a more reasonable comparability. NTCA also discussed the steps the Commission should take to ensure greater accountability in the use of RDOF distributions.
