On April 1 and 2, 2019 Mike Romano met with staff from the Offices of Commissioner O'Rielly and Commissioner Carr to discuss the draft report and order released by the FCC regarding the rate floor policy. NTCA expressed its support for the elimination of the rate floor policy and mentioned any delay of action by the FCC in regards to the rate floor policy would cause significant harm to rural consumers.
