On February 15, 2019, NTCA staff Jill Canfield, Vice President of Legal, and Brian Ford, Senior Regulatory Counsel met with Umair Javed from Commissioner Rosenworcel's office to discuss wireless issues pertaining to the 2.5 GHz and 3.7 GHz spectrum. NTCA also discussed the proposed Sprint/T-Mobile merger and reiterated its opposition, explaining the negative effects the merger would have on rural America.
