On March 26 and 27, 2019, Mike Romano met with staff from the Offices of Chairman Pai, Commissioner Rosenworcel and Commissioner Starks to discuss the draft report and order released by the FCC regarding the rate floor policy. NTCA expressed its support for the elimination of the rate floor policy and mentioned any delay of action by the FCC regarding the rate floor policy would cause significant harm to rural consumers.
