NTCA Files Ex Parte Letter urging FCC to deny Viasat Inc's Petition for Reconsideration

On May 2, 2019, NTCA filed a letter urging the FCC to deny Viasat, Inc's Petition for Reconsideration of the rules that require satellite providers to measure latency using a mean opinion score of 4 (MOS4).   NTCA's letter stated to lessen or otherwise modify the MOS4 requirements for one provider after the CAF Phase II auction has concluded would undermine the auction process and would be prejudicial to other providers.
