On April 18, 2019 NTCA along with a group of various companies, trade associations, labor organizations and public interest groups, submitted an Open Letter to the Department of Justice and the Federal Communications Commission, uniting in opposing to the Sprint-T-Mobile Merger. The letter expressed concern the merger would not benefit telecommunication services to rural Americans but instead undermine the services that already exist.
