On February 22, 2019, NTCA filed Opposition to Petition for Reconsideration on Accelerating Wireless and Wireline Broadband Deployment by Removing Barriers to Infrastructure Investment. The filing stated NTCA members utilize fixed and mobile wireless technology to meet consumer demand for voice and broadband services and any steps the Commission can take to expedite or lower the cost of access to municipally-controlled rights-of-way are welcome.
