Arlington, Va. (December 15, 2016)—NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association today issued the following statement from Chief Executive Officer Shirley Bloomfield following the announcement that FCC Chairman Tom Wheeler will step down from the commission on January 20, 2017.

He repeatedly demonstrated great resolve in taking action on some very difficult issues, and we appreciate the agency’s willingness under his leadership to engage with interested and affected stakeholders throughout these debates.”
