Arlington, Va., (September 12, 2019) – On September 11, 2019, NTCA – The Rural Broadband Association's Chief Executive Officer, Shirley Bloomfield, testified during the Subcommittee on Communications and Technology of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce hearing on, “Legislating to Connect America: Improving the Nation’s Broadband Maps”. Bloomfield testified on a number of issues related to improving America’s broadband maps including the need for standardized reporting and a robust challenge process.
