Michael Daniels, director of government affairs for NTCA—The Rural Broadband Association, advocates for NTCA’s policy positions before Members of Congress and their staffs. He also serves as the NTCA liaison with the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA). Before joining NTCA, Daniels served as the senior manager of operations for the Rural Health Care program at the Universal Service Administrative Company (USAC), directing Universal Service Fund deployment to rural health care providers. Prior to that, Daniels spent nearly four years as a political appointee at USDA, with a focus on rural economic development. He has also held several roles for two Members of Congress and has worked on numerous political campaigns. Daniels holds a J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law and a B.A. in political science and Spanish from the University of Michigan. |
