(Dec 23) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA generally supported the FCC’s goal in ensuring security of emergency alerts. NTCA encouraged the FCC to avoid developing incident reporting rules that conflicted with those being developed by CISA and to impose clear and subjective emergency standards. NTCA also provided the FCC with various recommendations to help achieve security goals.
