Position Summary
As VP of Operations, you will translate high-level executive strategy into actionable field victory, directing broadband deployment and OSP execution.
- Strategic Leadership: Partner with executives to cascade corporate goals. Optimize substantial CAPEX/OPEX budgets and operational policies.
- Team Development: Mentor a high-performing operations team, championing collective accountability and a robust leadership succession plan.
- Fiber Construction & Infrastructure: Direct large-scale physical deployments (aerial/underground). Secure municipal relationships, permitting, and rights-of-way. Optimize supply chain continuity.
- OSP & Network Reliability: Oversee tactical health of our physical OSP network topology. Prioritize installations, preventative maintenance, and rapid network repairs.
- Project & Risk Management: Guide teams using Project Trax to deliver milestones safely, on time, and within budget.
- Safety & Compliance: Enforce rigorous health, safety, and 811 regulations, embedding a proactive safety culture. Track rigorous QA workflows and KPIs.
What We Are Looking For
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Project Management, or related field, with 10–15 years of progressive telecom/broadband leadership in OSP and fiber construction.
- Expertise: Deep knowledge of FTTH deployment, network topology, and substantial budget management.
- The Right Fit: A self-motivated, low-ego leader who communicates transparently, thrives on shared success, and treats teams and partners with deep respect. Must pass pre-employment background/drug screenings and hold a valid driver’s license.
