(January 6) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA stated that the Siskiyou Telephone Company (Etna, Calif.) should be granted temporary relief from the high-cost universal service per-line support cap. A series of wildfires caused significant damage across the company’s service area, and the additional support grant of the waiver would allow the company to enable the restoration of those facilities.
