Zach Cochran

Zach Cochran is the director of information systems at Alexicon and is responsible for software development and GIS analysis. Cochran has degrees in economics and mathematics and has spent his entire professional career at Alexicon. That career has generated extensive experience in cost studies, regulatory and compliance reporting, regulatory reviews and audits, strategic planning, and forecasting. Cochran’s mathematics background was utilized in duplicating and challenging quantile regression in a published white paper and he worked directly with the FCC to correct errors in their calculations of regression related support reductions. Cochran is a strong advocate for minimizing the regulatory burden on rural ILECS and is currently developing improved methodologies for broadband mapping. |
