Specialty Programming

NTCA has partnered with external profession-specific programming to provide you with even more opportunities to grow in your field.

NTCA Cyber Wise

As part of an ongoing effort to educate its members about contemporary cyber threats and risk-management activities, NTCA–The Rural Broadband Association is partnering with the Department of Homeland Security and the National Institute for Hometown Security (NIHS) to supply small, rural telecom operators with critical cybersecurity information through a cyber information-sharing pilot program.

Timely and actionable cybersecurity intelligence is a critical input into a company’s cyber risk-management plan. Participation in this new program will allow small network operators to share and receive timely, actionable and relevant cyber-threat information in a trusted environment.

Continuing Legal Education (CLE)

NTCA offers continuing legal education hours (CLE). Upon request, an application for CLE program accreditation is submitted to the appropriate state bar. When a state bar grants CLE accreditation for the course, NTCA posts the information in the appropriate state record, verifies attorney attendance and issues certificates of attendance.

Attorneys who desire CLE credits for courses other than the Legal Seminar should request accreditation directly from their state bars.

Contact us for questions regarding CLE credit.

Continuing Professional Education (CPE)

NTCA is registered with the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy (NASBA) as a sponsor of continuing professional education on the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. State boards of accountancy have the final authority on the acceptance of individual courses for CPE credit. Complaints regarding registered sponsors may be submitted to the National Registry of CPE Sponsors through its website:

NTCA offers continuing professional education (CPE) hours for its annual Finance and Accounting Conference and a few select stand-alone events. CPE credit hours are based on a 50-minute hour in accordance with the standards of the National Registry of CPE Sponsors. Participants in these courses must complete, sign and return affidavits of attendance—without exception—to an NTCA staff member at the conclusion of each event. Upon verification of attendance, NTCA sends to the attendee an electronic copy of the official certificate of attendance.
