Advocacy and Leadership
NTCA’s headquarters is in Arlington, VA. In addition to administering association business and member benefits, staff in the Arlington office work in Government and Regulatory Affairs, communications and IT. In 1994, NTCA established the Foundation for Rural Service (FRS), a non-profit foundation, whose mission is to inform and educate the public on the rural telecommunications industry and to improve the quality of life throughout rural America. FRS is also located in the Arlington office.
NTCA's Asheville, NC, office manages the day-to-day administration of the association's benefit plans. Employees in Asheville are primarily responsible for enrolling member companies and participants into the benefit plans, processing invoices and cash receipts, paying medical and dental claims, processing retirement distributions, approving Savings Plan loans, and ensuring program compliance with regulatory requirements.
