Vice President of Strategic Communications
Laura Withers oversees communication of NTCA’s mission, objectives, policy positions and employee benefits offerings to enhance and increase the association’s visibility and effectiveness for members. Laura helps promote community-based communications providers as technology solution providers delivering the broadband future for rural America by sharing their impacts on local and national economies, community development, health care, farming and more. She also contributes to the association’s Smart Rural Community network, driving growth and creating opportunities in nearly 300 rural communities. Laura graduated from the E.W. Scripps School of Journalism at Ohio University and was a newspaper reporter and editor before joining NTCA.
