Doug Boone has been employed by Premier Communications, with headquarters in Sioux Center, Iowa, since 1982 and serves as the Chief Executive Officer. He is responsible for the overall operations of the company. He is a 1982 graduate of Northwestern College (Orange City, IA) with a business administration degree. As an active NTCA member, Doug is a current director and past president for the association. He is also a director for Aureon, Iowa’s ILEC owned state-wide fiber optic network, a past director for the Iowa Telecommunications Association and has served on a number of state industry committees. He has also been active in lobbying efforts at the state and federal levels recognizing that active engagement with our policymakers is crucial to the advancement of our industry goals. Doug was instrumental in the formation of FiberNet Communications L.C., FiberComm L.C., Northwest Communications Network, L.C. and Milford Communications, L.C. and currently represents Premier Communications on these boards. He is currently serving on the Sioux Center Economic Development Board, his local church board and has a long history of being involved with many local civic projects. Doug and his wife, Janet, reside in Sioux Center, Iowa.
