About the Webinar

Gigabit and even multi-gigabit services are appearing around the world. The major drivers are competition, market positioning and superior Quality of Experience. Early adopters initially used Gigabit services as a marketing advantage but are now reaping the business benefits like increased ARPU, customer loyalty and churn as well as an investment in the future network capabilities.

While 10G PON is helping to relieve network congestion and perhaps address new markets segments, it is critical that service providers plan how they will elegantly transition to the next, NEXT generation PON technology. Only then will the access network perform in a manner that allows the redirection of precious capital and human resources to focus exclusively on the customer experience and not the capabilities (or lack thereof) of the network.

The next, NEXT, generation PON will enable operators to finally collapse multiple physical networks into one. But which next, NEXT generation PON technology will be best: 25G, 50G, or 100G PON? This session will explore the standards, technologies, and capabilities of next generation PON and why operators need to start considering their future, today. Join this informative session to unpack the business case for migrating your network through the lens of real-world scenarios and business case modeling.
