General Summary:

The Business Solutions Account Executive drives revenue growth by identifying, developing, and managing relationships with small, medium, enterprise, carrier, and government business customers throughout PVT’s service areas. This role serves as a consultative sales professional focused on delivering advanced telecommunications and technology solutions that improve connectivity, productivity, security, reliability, and business continuity for customers.

The Business Solutions Account Executive sells and supports a portfolio of telecommunications and technology solutions including fiber broadband, dedicated Internet access, managed Wi-Fi, hosted voice and PBX systems, SIP services, cybersecurity solutions, video surveillance systems, Ethernet transport, fiber transport, smart business technologies, managed network services, business continuity solutions, and custom-engineered connectivity solutions.

This position is also responsible for establishing, refining, and maintaining the full business sales lifecycle, including lead generation, opportunity qualification, proposal development, order acquisition, service turn-up coordination, account management, and long-term customer relationship development. The position plays a critical role in building repeatable sales processes, supporting operational excellence, and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction and retention.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

  • Strong understanding of telecommunications technologies including fiber broadband, voice services, managed Wi-Fi, networking, cybersecurity, transport services, surveillance systems, and business connectivity solutions.
  • Ability to develop customized telecommunications and technology solutions based on customer operational requirements.
  • Strong sales, negotiation, relationship-building, and customer service skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation communication abilities.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple opportunities and accounts simultaneously.
  • Experience using CRM platforms such as Salesforce to manage pipeline activity, customer relationships, and forecasting.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments and effectively coordinate customer projects from sale through activation.
  • Strong personal accountability, initiative, professionalism, and follow-through.
