Location: Unity, ME (Hybrid)
Compensation: $30.00 – $31.00 / Hour

The Opportunity

We are seeking an "Ideal Team Player" to serve as the architect of our ISP operational backbone. You will manage network design, security infrastructure, and core ISP operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Architect & Implement: Lead strategic planning and operation of wired/wireless networks and unified communications.
• Master the Core: Configure LAN/WAN and Telco/ISP equipment, including enterprise servers (VMs).
• Proactive Monitoring: Solve system issues before they impact customers and maintain detailed technical documentation.
• Drive Innovation: Optimize the network using DWDM, BGP, OSPF, and VoIP; prepare for MPLS and Segment Routing.
• Technical Leadership: Serve as the lead contact for vendors and the primary technician for high-level troubleshooting and special circuits.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s in CS/IS or equivalent experience; CCNA/CCNP is a significant plus.
• Experience: 8+ years supporting complex LAN/WAN and Telecommunications networks.
• Technical Knowledge: Deep expertise in TCP/IP, routers, switches, VLANs, FTTH, and DSL. Familiarity with EVPN and Pseudowire preferred.
• Requirements: Valid Driver’s License with a clean record; must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
