The NTCA Retirement and Security Program and Savings Plan Trust Committee regularly reviews the Savings Plan to make sure it continues to help you and your employees reach your retirement goals. Thanks to the combined strength of our NTCA programs—including the Savings Plan, Retirement & Security Program, and Group Health Program—we now qualify for a new Vanguard share class with lower costs. That means lower expenses for your plan participants!

Vanguard Old Vs. New Shares

The NTCA Retirement and Security Program and Savings Plan Trust Committee regularly reviews the Savings Plan to make sure it continues to help you and your employees reach your retirement goals. Thanks to the combined strength of our NTCA programs—including the Savings Plan, Retirement & Security Program, and Group Health Program—we now qualify for a new Vanguard share class with lower costs. That means lower expenses for your plan participants!

Here’s what Savings Plan participants can expect:

  • What: Two investment options will move to a lower-cost Vanguard share class
  • When: After the market closes on November 14, 2025
  • What stays the same: The funds’ strategies and risk levels
  • What changes: Fund codes and expense ratios (lower!)

Participants (both active and former employees) should have received a notice from Fidelity in early October 2025 with all the details. Balances will automatically transfer, and the change will show as an exchange on account histories and quarterly statements.
