The Retirement & Security (R&S) Program launched NTCA Pension Point in March 2024. By now, we hope all your R&S Program participants have accessed their personalized accounts. Please review these key updates regarding Pension Point and required notices:
ANNUAL BENEFIT STATEMENTS — The 2024 R&S Program Annual Benefit Statements will be available to your employees in Pension Point on March 31, 2025. Please encourage your employees to review their statements in Pension Point. If they have not yet created an account, we have numerous educational resources available at ntca.org/RSResources to help with this process.
ANNUAL FUNDING NOTICE — The latest R&S Program Annual Funding Notice is available in the Program Descriptions and Disclosures section of the NTCA website. You are required to download and distribute the notice to all eligible employees by April 29. Here are distribution instructions for the Notice and a Certification of Distribution to Union Representative Form. Under Federal law, failing to deliver the Notice to your employees can result in monetary penalties.
STATEMENT-RELATED DATA FOR EMPLOYERS — While members no longer distribute Annual Benefit Statements, we recognize that many use this data for internal reporting. On March 31, 2025, the primary contact for your company (typically the General Manager or CEO) will receive a secure email from "[email protected]" with the subject line "SECMSG Your 2024 R&S Program Statement Data." This email will contain a plain-text encrypted message with your participants’ data. Please check your junk/spam folders if not received by the end of the business day.
