(July 16) In comments filed with the FCC, NTCA stated that the TRACED Act requires call authentication across all voice networks. With solutions available to authenticate calls across non-IP networks, the commission is required by the TRACED Act to promote the IP transition and mandate use of non-IP authentication standards, even as the pro-IP transition approach is the best option.
